WINDEY at the Annual Conference of the National Wind Energy Equipment Industry: Building an Open, Inclusive and Mutually-Beneficial Community with a Shared Future
On November 28, the 36th Annual Conference of the National Wind Energy Equipment Industry & the Industrial Development Summit Forum was unveiled in Shenyang. Themed on "Coordinating Security and Development, Building a Sustainable Industrial Chain", this forum discussed the path of energy development with new energy practitioners across the country. Chen Qi, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of WINDEY, was invited to attend and address the opening ceremony.
Chen Qi said that as early as 2002, WINDEY developed cooperation with Liaoning for "Wind". Back then, 12 wind turbines were connected to the grid and put into operation in Zhangzi Island, Dalian, and they have been operating stably for 22 years until now, and delivering green energy for the regional economy on end. He emphasized that at present, WINDEY is deeply involved in the economic development of the new energy industry in such cities as Shenyang, Dalian, Tieling and Chaoyang. Driven by both new energy industry investment and resource exploitation, WINDEY is actively promoting the deployment of the entire new energy industry chain and the entire industrial ecology in Liaoning.
Meanwhile, Chen Qi called on all counterparts in the industry to jointly establish a standard system, a specification system, a design system, and a verification system that are more stringent, more suitable for real working conditions, and more applicable to the safety boundaries of large-capacity wind turbines, with a view to promoting the inter-generational upgrading of wind power technology, to fostering sustainable interaction and coordinated progress in quality and safety management of wind power equipment, and to achieving development goals of higher quality. Chen pointed out that for deployment of the entire industrial chain WINDEY gives more priority to the building of an open, inclusive and mutually beneficial community with a shared future, and is committed to fully integrating the advantages of upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain. According to Chen, WINDEY will rid itself of simple trading relationship and stress in-depth cooperation in such respects as technological integration, industrial investment, resource cooperation and talent sharing, in order to promote technological innovation and industrial upgrading, and to develop and cultivate new quality productive forces for wind power. In face of challenges and opportunities ahead, WINDEY will work hand in hand with its partners to jointly explore new paths for the sustainable development of the wind power industry, and achieve the sustainable prosperity of the entire industrial chain.
Sources said that this conference consists of six forums respectively themed on"Life-cycle Collaboration and Innovation", "Wind Power Digitalization and Smart Wind Farms", "Technology of Wind Turbine Generators", "Wind Power Drive Chains", "Wind Power Development and Experience Sharing" and "Multi-scenario Applications and Market-oriented Electricity". Experts from WINDEY will also give keynote speeches in respect of the deployment, development, and practices & experience in the international market.
